The St. Patrick’s weekend of 1995 witnessed an extraordinary event, a world championship boxing match deep in the countryside of County Cork. One Night in Millstreet not only relives the titanic contest that took place in the Green Glens Arena, but also marks the trajectory of the two competitors. The preening, self-regarding, and mentally formidable Super Middleweight Champion, Chris Eubank, and the hungry challenger from Cabra, Steve Collins.

Andrew Gallimore, a former print journalist, became a television reporter working on several news and current affairs programmes in the United Kingdom. In 1996 Andrew set up an independent production house that produces documentary films for the international market. Among other things, he is the director of a raft of impressive sports docs (including IFTA-winners A Bloody Canvas and Barry McGuigan doc In Sunshine & In Shadow). Andrew is also the author of several books.
